The really annoying thing is that if she just sat in a corner and didn’t “help” by shooting at monsters with her bow, they would never attack her, and I could have completed the level!īoth are fantastic games, though, just a touch on the difficult (impossible) side in some sections. I must have played that lift level dozens of times, and almost every time it was her fault that I failed it. Then, as the monsters also warp across the room to keep up with your movements, saving her from one monster inevitably meant bringing three other monsters to her. Because of the way the mosters spawn randomly in the room, and are attracted to the princess if she fires upon them, they would start bashing at her, requiring me to go and save her. The real killer wasn’t even my ability to fight, as I was just getting on top of that, but the stupid princess. In the end I had to use a trainer to get past it, which is the first time I have cheated in a game in over a decade.
The enclosed area was so tight that the only way I could stop the camera suddenly switching position and making me lunge or jump the wrong way was to switch to zoomed out mode, but that seemed to have a timer limit on it, which would drag it back to free moving camera mode at inopportune moments. The fighting in the lift at 81% is ferociously difficult, especially with the keyboard and annoying camera issues. I finished it without cheating, but it was damn hard I agree.Īnother Ubisoft game, which I am playing right now, that is damn hard is Prince of Persia.
